What Is Important to Your Family?

Family Serendipity wants to support your family as your youngster finds and pursues interests, blowing a serendipitous breeze through your family’s routine.  Finding a child’s passion is the key to unlocking a love of life and learning.  I would love to get to know your unique family and your youngster to plan how best to support you.

I like to balance the following 5 factors in my life, which has guided my parenting:

Emotional  & Spiritual

A child who feels loved and happy is eager to learn.  Take time to check in emotionally, and depending on your family also spiritually, for example by keeping a gratitude journal, meditation or religion.

Physical

Experts recommend at least 30 minutes of exercise five times a week.  Is this happening?  What form of exercise would you like to try?

mental

Take time to learn or figure something out every day.  How is school?  Different people learn in different ways, and finding a way to learn that fits your youngster’s learning style could make all the difference.

Social

How are social connections – with friends and family?  What are your upcoming plans?  Do different family members have different needs for social connection?

home

Helping out at home, from personal chores (e.g. putting away my dishes, cleaning up my space, and keeping up my things) to contributing to the household (e.g. cooking, taking out the garbage).
